Saur Gram Yojna

MSEDCL, the state owned power distribution company, has initiated “Saur Gram Yojana” to cover the small villages for 100% solarization and as of now 10 villages in the state are converted into 100% Solar Villages. Manyachiwadi in Satara District became the first Solar Village in the state. The state has planned to extend the benefits of PM Surya Ghar Yojana to a total of 100 villages to facilitate 100% solarization of these villages.
