Magel Tyala Saur Krishi Pump Yojana

The Government of Maharashtra has announced ‘Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana’ to install off-grid solar pumps in the budget assembly session 2024. It aims to provide 10 lakh agriculture solar pumps for new connections to the farmers in the next five years. The state has installed off-grid solar pumps, the highest by any state in the country. With the deployment of the scheme, more than 10 lakh acres of land will come under irrigation.
